My neighbour and I have lived in Parkstone for all of our lives, recently we read a chapter in a local ghost book about two children that froze to death in Poole Park in 1920.
We have checked the local history centre on the quay for information regarding any news reports but its like looking for a needle in a hay stack...
Has anyone else heard the story about Jonathon and Gemma, who waited for their mother to return but never did... leaving them to freeze to death in the park near the main entrance, under an oak tree?
Another question is which entrance is the main entrance?
